The Gudenå Trail east of Ulstrup is started

Favrskov Municipality and Tjele Entreprenørforretning ApS have begun work to improve conditions for walkers along the Gudenå River. The stretch is part of the Trækstien trail between Silkeborg and Randers but will in future also be part of the Gudenå Trail, which will make it possible to follow the Gudenå all the way from source to fjord. Read more about the project via the link below. In connection with the construction work, the towpath along the route will be closed for safety reasons. If you are planning a walk along the route, you will have to use the alternative route (black dotted line on the map). The alternative route is also shown on the overview maps posted at the entrances to the towpath. The towpath and the future Gudenå Trail run on private land in Favrskov municipality, and the upgrade is only possible thanks to benevolent landowners.
