Trail builders met in Ry

On Tuesday, August 13, the 11 parties involved in the great Gudenåsti project met and shook hands and pledged to do everything possible to finish by the end of 2026! There are plenty of things that can delay - high water levels, permits that take time and much more - but the parties agreed to do what THEY can. The 11 parties are Vejle, Hedensted, Horsens, Skanderborg, Silkeborg, Viborg, Favrskov and Randers municipalities, as well as three units of the Danish Nature Agency Triangle Region, Søhøjlandet and Kronjylland. After the meeting, Hands Brok-Brandi, Skanderborg Municipality, showed us around Skimminghøj - currently a campsite for canoeists and others, but where a boat hall will be built, which will also be a hammock hotel etc.
