In Bjerringbro, volunteers build a replica of a Gudenåpram

When the barge is complete, it is intended to be able to carry people – not paper, peat and other goods as in the 1800s. The boat is 12 meters long and about half the size of a real Gudenåkåg. The barge is financed by the Gudenå Trail Project and Viborg Municipality – the 12 men are volunteers, and they borrow the hall and tools. None of the 12 volunteer men have built a boat before. On the other hand, most of them have a background in craftsmanship. They have also been on a trip to the Limfjord Museum in Løgstør and have been given a lifeline to a boat builder in Løgstør.
